Hundred Mile Brewing Company is an independent craft brewery and restaurant located at 690 N. Scottsdale Road in Tempe, Arizona. The brewery officially opened its doors in December 2022 with a focus on fresh handcrafted beer, hospitality and bringing people together. Founder Sue Rigler developed the idea for Hundred Mile after a brewery tour in Montana in 2014 connected her background in microbiology with her longtime interest in beer. An Arizona State University graduate, Rigler eventually brought that idea back to Tempe and created Hundred Mile Brewing Company with co-founder Todd Kessel.
Fresh beer is central to the Hundred Mile philosophy. The brewery produces its own craft beer in Tempe while creating a space where visitors can enjoy a pint, share a meal and connect with the surrounding community. Hundred Mile places community, sustainability, authenticity, wellness, local involvement and innovation among its stated values. Learn more about the brewery and its story on the official Hundred Mile Brewing Company website.
Hundred Mile combines its brewery with a full restaurant experience and a dog-friendly outdoor patio. The brewery also hosts community activities and events, extending its focus beyond the beer itself. That community-driven approach has earned local recognition, including being named the Tempe Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year in 2024.
